How do you Read the Chaikin Volatility Oscillator on the Pocket Option?

Image
Market volatility is quite an important factor in analyzing the behavior of security prices. The trend changes more often and more rapidly during times of higher volatility. The changes in the prices are slower and less frequent in periods of lower volatility. These changes affect the readings of indicators as the signals may come too early or too late. This is why it is important to include the volatility factor in the calculations. And today I am going to present the Chaikin Volatility indicator. Chaikin Volatility basics The indicator invented by Marc Chaikin is a tool that measures volatility by analyzing the gap between the low and high prices of the asset over a specific time. It is known as the Chaikin Volatility indicator (VT). Adding the Chaikin Volatility to the Pocket Option chart Log in to your  Pocket Option  account. XTrend, Revolutionizing Forex Trading

Image
XTrend , Revolutionizing Forex Trading The history of currencies and trading is as old as humankind itself. Several Talmudic writings dating back to thousands of years spoke of people who assisted others in transactions for a fee. Today, these individuals would be called brokers. Roughly 2500 years ago, it was common for the Egyptians and Greeks to trade currencies and goods with silver and gold coins. Their weights and sizes determined their value. Five hundred years later, the Roman Empire centralized currency minting and established a government-run monopoly. Around five hundred years ago, the world's first forex market was established. The exciting possibility to freely trade currencies was a step towards stabilizing currency exchange rates. From Amsterdam, Forex trades were initiated throughout the world. In 1875, the gold standard was established to guarantee the value of a currency. By 1913, the number of Forex trading firms increased from 3 to 71 in London within a span of ...

FxPro:The Bear’s crypto market

Image
FxPro :The Bear’s crypto market The Fear and Greed Index for the sector returned to the extreme fear territory The cryptocurrency market came under impressive pressure on Monday afternoon, taking 6% off its total capitalisation to 2.12 trillion. The Fear and Greed Index for the sector returned to the extreme fear territory, dropping from 28 to 21. It is not easy to pinpoint the new wave of pressure trigger, but it intensified and widened after the two largest cryptocurrencies gave up their key positions. Bitcoin has fallen below its 200-day average, trading below $47K at the time of writing. Excluding the intraday drop on the 6th of December, these are the lowest values since early October, and bitcoin has lost a third of its value from its peak levels just over a month ago. By and large, the highs at 69k were the starting point for pressure on the BTCUSD. Should the decline develop, it is worth paying increased attention to the 40k and 30k levels, significant round levels where Bitcoi...

A South African FX trader was sentenced to four years in prison for fraud.

After being found guilty of fraud, a man from South Africa was sentenced to four years in jail. Jabulani “Cashflow” Ngcobo, 33, has also been fined 200,000 South African rands (about £10,600 British pounds or over $14,000 US dollars). The fine has been put on hold for the next five years. The Financial Sector Conduct Authority verified the report (FSCA). Mzabalazo Welcome Dlamini, one of Ngcobo's associates, was also sentenced to the same sentence. The two were discovered to have lied about their own credentials, claiming to be financial services providers with the necessary authorizations to conduct foreign currency trading for their clients. They did not, though. As a consequence, they were convicted of violating section 7(1) of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act as well as fraud. Last year, Ngcobo made national headlines after it was revealed that he had allegedly committed fraud against an Angolan worker in Johannesburg. A total of 100,000 Rand was exch...
